According to ChainCatcher, citing Coinglass data, total liquidations across the crypto market reached $178 million over the past 24 hours. Long-position liquidations amounted to $57.3395 million, while short-position liquidations totaled $121 million. Based on these figures, short liquidations were higher than long liquidations during the reported 24-hour period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation breakdown
By asset, Bitcoin-related long liquidations reached $10.8736 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations stood at $40.657 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations totaled $12.1028 million, and short liquidations reached $37.2136 million. In both Bitcoin and Ethereum contracts, short liquidations exceeded long liquidations under Coinglass’s reported figures.
Coinglass data also showed that 69,433 traders were liquidated globally in the latest 24-hour window. The largest single liquidation order took place on Binance in the BTCUSDT trading pair, with a value of $3.435 million. The figures reflect Coinglass’s liquidation statistics for the broader crypto derivatives market over the stated period.
