According to ChainCatcher, citing Coinglass data, total liquidations across the crypto market reached $326 million over the past 24 hours. Long-position liquidations amounted to $93.1306 million, while short-position liquidations reached $233 million, making shorts the larger share of forced closures during the reporting period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation figures
By asset, Bitcoin long liquidations totaled $19.4197 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $112 million. Ethereum long liquidations stood at $17.6131 million, and Ethereum short liquidations totaled $42.5688 million. These figures were reported by Coinglass for the most recent 24-hour period across the broader derivatives market.
During the same 24-hour window, 99,241 traders worldwide were liquidated. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance in the BTCUSDT pair, with a value of $6.1065 million. This was the largest individual forced-liquidation order recorded in the dataset cited by ChainCatcher.
