ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $324 million over the past 24 hours. Of that amount, long positions accounted for $189 million, while short positions accounted for $135 million. Liquidation figures track leveraged positions that are forcibly closed when market moves exceed margin requirements, and the data cited covers activity across the latest 24-hour period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation breakdown
For Bitcoin, long liquidations totaled $38.8298 million, while short liquidations reached $58.0473 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations stood at $40.9653 million, and short liquidations amounted to $27.7905 million. The Coinglass figures separately recorded liquidation volumes on both the long and short sides for the two major crypto assets.
In the same 24-hour period, a total of 110,156 traders worldwide were liquidated. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance in the ETHUSDC pair, with a value of $2.9509 million. This was the largest individual liquidation order disclosed within the reported 24-hour window.
