Long-position liquidations amounted to $69.5254 million, while short-position liquidations totaled $73.6071 million. In this reporting window, short liquidations were slightly higher than long liquidations, while both sides of the derivatives market saw sizable forced position closures.

Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation breakdown

By asset, Bitcoin long liquidations reached $11.0992 million, and Bitcoin short liquidations reached $35.4525 million. Ethereum long liquidations totaled $11.6166 million, while Ethereum short liquidations stood at $9.3173 million. These figures are based on Coinglass statistics for liquidations across the broader crypto derivatives market during the most recent 24-hour period.

Coinglass data also shows that 78,518 traders worldwide were liquidated during the same 24-hour period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Bitget, on the BTCUSDT_UMCBL trading pair, with a value of $5.1119 million.
