Long positions accounted for $402 million of that amount, while short liquidations totaled $76.5863 million. Bitcoin and Ethereum Liquidation Breakdown

By asset, Bitcoin long liquidations totaled $134 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $13.5345 million. Ethereum long liquidations stood at $94.4208 million, and Ethereum short liquidations amounted to $12.5693 million. These figures indicate that leveraged positions tied to both BTC and ETH underwent sizable forced closures during the 24-hour window.

Coinglass data also shows that 124,482 traders worldwide were liquidated over the same period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance in the ETHUSDT pair, with a value of $7.4075 million. In leveraged trading, liquidation refers to the forced closure of a position when margin is insufficient, and such data is commonly used to track the scale of short-term leverage clearing in the market.
