Long-position liquidations accounted for $339 million of that amount, while short-position liquidations totaled $104 million. Bitcoin and Ethereum Liquidation Breakdown

Among major crypto assets, Bitcoin long-position liquidations reached $95.7773 million, while Bitcoin short-position liquidations stood at $37.3006 million. For Ethereum, long-position liquidations totaled $63.7987 million, and short-position liquidations reached $23.5739 million. Liquidation generally refers to the forced closing of a leveraged trading position when the margin supporting that position is no longer sufficient.

The data also showed that 120,848 traders were liquidated globally over the latest 24-hour period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance in the BTCUSDT pair, with a value of $2.9648 million. The figures summarize the scale and distribution of forced liquidations across crypto derivatives markets during the reported period.
