ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $215 million over the past 24 hours. Of that amount, long positions accounted for $123 million, while short positions accounted for $91.2123 million. The figures show that forced liquidations occurred on both sides of the market during the period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation breakdown
Among major assets, Bitcoin long liquidations totaled $21.7267 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $23.0648 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations amounted to $26.8932 million, and short liquidations stood at $26.2766 million. The liquidation totals for long and short positions in both Bitcoin and Ethereum were in relatively close ranges.
The data also showed that 79,465 traders worldwide were liquidated in the last 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Aster’s ETHUSDT trading pair, with a value of $10.4925 million. Liquidation data is commonly used to track how leveraged positions are cleared during price movements in crypto derivatives markets.
