According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $195 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $103 million of the total, while short positions accounted for $91.8433 million. The figures indicate that leveraged traders on both sides of the market saw positions forcibly closed during the reporting period.

For major assets, Bitcoin-related positions recorded $11.9053 million in long liquidations and $26.4739 million in short liquidations. Ethereum-related positions recorded $15.2702 million in long liquidations and $11.2157 million in short liquidations. These numbers refer to the network-wide derivatives liquidation data tracked by Coinglass over the latest 24-hour window.

The same Coinglass dataset also shows that 96,758 traders worldwide were liquidated during the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance - BTCUSDT, with a value of $1.9305 million. Liquidation generally refers to the forced closing of a leveraged position when the margin supporting that position is insufficient under the platform’s rules.
