TechFlow reported on June 10, citing CoinGlass data, that total liquidations across the cryptocurrency market reached $366 million over the past 24 hours. Of that amount, long-position liquidations accounted for $235 million, while short-position liquidations totaled $131 million. The data shows that long positions made up the larger share of forced liquidations during the 24-hour reporting period.

BTC Recorded $101 Million in Liquidations

By asset, BTC saw $101 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations in BTC stood at $49.0901 million, while short liquidations reached $51.5001 million. Among the listed assets in the CoinGlass data, BTC recorded the highest liquidation amount, with liquidations on both the long and short sides remaining relatively close in size.

ETH recorded $78.9743 million in total liquidations. Within that figure, long liquidations amounted to $47.9798 million, while short liquidations stood at $30.9945 million. Compared with BTC, ETH’s total liquidation amount was lower, but the long side accounted for a larger share than the short side.

SOL posted $11.7037 million in liquidations during the same 24-hour period. Long-position liquidations for SOL totaled $7.1059 million, while short-position liquidations came in at $4.5978 million. Like the broader market total, SOL’s liquidation data was led by long positions.

109,404 Traders Were Liquidated in 24 Hours

CoinGlass data also showed that 109,404 traders were liquidated over the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation occurred on Binance in the BTCUSDT trading pair, with a value of $2.0983 million. This was the largest single liquidation disclosed in the 24-hour dataset.

Across the reported figures, the cryptocurrency market saw $366 million in total liquidations, covering major traded assets including BTC, ETH and SOL. Long liquidations reached $235 million, exceeding the $131 million recorded on the short side, making long positions the main source of the latest 24-hour liquidation total.
