ChainCatcher reported, citing CoinGlass data, that total liquidations across the cryptocurrency market reached $366 million. Of that amount, long liquidations stood at $235 million, while short liquidations totaled $131 million. The figures show the reported split between forced closures of long and short positions during the measured period.
BTC, ETH and SOL liquidation figures
By asset, BTC recorded $101 million in liquidations. Within that figure, long liquidations accounted for $49.0901 million, while short liquidations reached $51.5001 million. ETH saw total liquidations of $78.9743 million, including $47.9798 million in long liquidations and $30.9945 million in short liquidations. SOL recorded $11.7037 million in liquidations, with $7.1059 million from long positions and $4.5978 million from short positions.
The CoinGlass data also showed that 109,404 traders were liquidated in total. The largest single liquidation occurred on Binance in the BTCUSDT trading pair, with a value of $2.0983 million. The reported data covers the overall liquidation amount, the long-short breakdown, the liquidation figures for BTC, ETH and SOL, and the largest individual liquidation order.
