According to ChainCatcher, citing Coinglass data, total crypto liquidations across the network reached $488 million over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations amounted to $116 million, while short liquidations totaled $372 million. Based on these figures, short liquidations accounted for the larger share of the 24-hour total.
Bitcoin and Ethereum Liquidation Breakdown
For Bitcoin, long liquidations reached $20.7035 million, while short liquidations stood at $89.825 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations totaled $35.1376 million, and short liquidations reached $140 million. Among the listed figures, Ethereum short liquidations were the largest single category in the data provided.
Coinglass also reported that 107,178 traders were liquidated globally during the same 24-hour period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance in the ETHUSDT pair, with a value of $12.029 million. Liquidation data is commonly used to track the scale of forced position closures in leveraged crypto markets.
