According to ChainCatcher, data from Coinglass shows that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $101 million over the past 24 hours. Long-position liquidations amounted to $55.7018 million, while short-position liquidations totaled $45.7841 million. In leveraged trading, liquidation generally refers to the forced closure of a position when margin is insufficient.
By asset, Bitcoin-related positions saw $4.4538 million in long liquidations and $6.6843 million in short liquidations. Ethereum-related positions recorded $3.6972 million in long liquidations and $3.749 million in short liquidations. These figures describe the forced liquidation activity in major crypto derivatives positions during the latest 24-hour period.
Coinglass data also shows that 77,433 traders worldwide were liquidated over the same 24-hour window. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Hyperliquid in the HYPE-USD pair, with a value of $721,500.
