ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $243 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $131 million of that amount, while short positions accounted for $113 million. Liquidation figures reflect the scale of leveraged positions that were forcibly closed across derivatives markets during the reporting period.
Bitcoin and Ether Liquidation Breakdown
For Bitcoin, long liquidations totaled $18.5403 million, while short liquidations reached $30.6754 million. For Ether, long liquidations amounted to $32.9607 million, and short liquidations stood at $15.2153 million. The figures were compiled by Coinglass for the most recent 24-hour period and cover liquidation activity across the broader market.
Coinglass also recorded 106,023 traders liquidated globally during the same 24-hour window. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance - ETHUSDT, with a value of $11.8764 million. According to the reported data, this was the largest individual forced liquidation order in the latest market-wide tally.
