ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $338 million over the past 24 hours. Of that amount, long-position liquidations accounted for $138 million, while short-position liquidations accounted for $200 million. Liquidation generally refers to the forced closing of leveraged positions when margin is insufficient, and the figures reflect clearing activity across the market during the latest 24-hour reporting window.

By asset, Bitcoin-related long positions saw $20.3004 million in liquidations, while Bitcoin short positions recorded $68.0779 million in liquidations. For Ethereum, long-position liquidations totaled $36.2746 million, while short-position liquidations reached $35.3031 million. The data shows that both BTC and ETH derivatives positions experienced substantial liquidations during the period covered by the Coinglass statistics.

Coinglass also reported that 114,899 traders worldwide were liquidated in the most recent 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order took place on Binance - ETHUSDT, with a value of $11.8764 million.
