Crypto liquidations across the market reached $701 million over the past 24 hours, according to Coinglass, after Bitcoin fell below $83,000. Long positions accounted for the bulk of the losses at $642 million, while short liquidations totaled $59.11 million. The data also showed that 122,473 traders were liquidated during the period. The largest single liquidation order was recorded on Binance in the ETHUSDC pair, with a value of $26.6438 million. The figures point to a sharp round of forced position closures as Bitcoin moved below the $83,000 mark.

Crypto liquidations totaled $701 million over the past 24 hours after Bitcoin fell below $83,000, according to Coinglass data released on Oct. 7.

Of that amount, long liquidations reached $642 million, while short liquidations came in at $59.11 million. A total of 122,473 traders were liquidated worldwide during the period.

The largest single liquidation order was recorded on Binance in the ETHUSDC trading pair, valued at $26.6438 million.
