ChainCatcher reported, citing CoinGlass data, that total liquidations across the cryptocurrency market reached $426 million over the past 24 hours. Of that amount, long liquidations accounted for $304 million, while short liquidations totaled $123 million. The figures show that long positions represented the larger share of forced liquidations during the reporting window.

BTC and ETH Lead the Liquidation Totals

By asset, BTC recorded $126 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours. This included $85.6314 million in long liquidations and $40.5747 million in short liquidations. ETH followed with $93.67 million in liquidations, made up of $64.9403 million in long liquidations and $28.7296 million in short liquidations.

SOL posted $14.1397 million in total liquidations during the same period. Long liquidations in SOL reached $10.5799 million, while short liquidations stood at $3.5598 million. Across BTC, ETH, and SOL, long liquidations were higher than short liquidations in each listed asset.

111,791 Traders Liquidated; Largest Single Order on Hyperliquid

CoinGlass data also showed that 111,791 traders were liquidated in the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation occurred on Hyperliquid in the BTC-USD trading pair, with a value of $4.3474 million. Liquidation generally refers to the forced closing of leveraged positions when margin conditions are not met or an exchange’s liquidation threshold is triggered.
