According to ChainCatcher, data from CoinGlass indicates that the total liquidation amount in the cryptocurrency market reached $525 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $387 million, while short positions accounted for $137 million, demonstrating that long losses far exceeded those of short positions. The market experienced clear downward pressure in the short term, triggering widespread long position liquidations.

By asset, Bitcoin (BTC) recorded the highest liquidation total at $186 million, with $175 million from longs and approximately $11 million from shorts. Ethereum (ETH) saw $102 million in liquidations, comprising $88.33 million from longs and $13.5 million from shorts. Solana (SOL) had $19 million in liquidations, with $18.16 million from longs and $0.85 million from shorts. The data reveals a sweeping wave of long liquidations across major cryptocurrencies.

The liquidation scale was notably large, with longs accounting for 73.7% ($387M/$525M) of the total, reflecting a bearish market sentiment as falling prices triggered cascading liquidations.
