Odaily reported on June 11 that, according to SoSoValue data, crypto market sectors generally extended their downward trend. Several categories recorded 24-hour declines, including AI, DeFi, Layer2, Meme, PayFi and Layer1. In contrast, the NFT sector moved against the broader sector trend, rising 29.36% over 24 hours and standing out as the strongest-performing category in the data set.

NFT sector climbs while AI tokens diverge

The NFT sector rose 29.36% in 24 hours, with Audiera (BEAT) gaining 55.70%. The AI sector, however, fell 3.37%. Within that sector, token performance was sharply divided: Siren (SIREN) dropped 21.45%, while Venice Token (VVV) declined 13.08%. At the same time, Velvet (VELVET) posted a large gain of 141.11%, moving in the opposite direction from the broader AI category.

Among major crypto assets, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 0.73% and traded in a narrow range around the $62,000 level. Ethereum (ETH) gained 0.24% and remained above $1,600. Both assets posted small gains in the same data window, while many sector categories showed declines, creating a mixed picture across the market.

CeFi, Layer1, PayFi and other sectors record declines

In other categories, the CeFi sector fell 0.12% over 24 hours, although NEXO (NEXO) rose 3.62%. The Layer1 sector declined 1.22%, with NEAR Protocol (NEAR) down 8.22%. The PayFi sector dropped 1.36%, while Monero (XMR) saw an intraday rise of 9.25%. The Meme sector fell 1.42%, though 币安人生(币安人生)was comparatively firm, gaining 6.67%.

The Layer2 sector declined 2.16%, with Optimism (OP) down 4.67%. The DeFi sector fell 2.80%, while LAB (LAB) dropped 13.78%. Crypto sector indices that reflect historical sector performance showed a split result: the ssiMAG7 index rose 0.61%, the ssiCeFi index gained 0.47%, and the ssiAI index fell 6.35%. Based on the SoSoValue data, the NFT segment led the 24-hour gains, while the AI index and several other crypto sectors remained in negative territory.
