According to SoSoValue data cited by Odaily, most crypto market sectors posted gains over the past 24 hours. The PayFi sector stood out with a 4.03% increase. Within the sector, Stellar (XLM) rose 13.54%, while Bitcoin Cash (BCH) gained 6.45%, making them two of the stronger assets in the reported PayFi data.
PayFi Leads as BTC and ETH Break Above Key Price Levels
Major crypto assets also moved higher during the same period. Bitcoin (BTC) increased 1.16% and broke above $66,000. Ethereum (ETH) gained 4.48% and moved above $1,700. Compared with PayFi’s sector-wide increase, BTC recorded a smaller gain, while ETH posted a larger 24-hour rise than BTC and also crossed a round-number price level.
Several other sectors were also in positive territory. The DeFi sector rose 2.48% over 24 hours, with Uniswap (UNI) up 10.72%. The Layer1 sector gained 1.26%, led in the reported data by Zcash (ZEC), which rose 8.46%. The Layer2 sector increased 0.80%, while Celestia (TIA) gained 6.91%. The CeFi sector added 0.45%, and MX (MX) rose 3.12%. These sectors all recorded gains, though the size of the increases varied across categories and individual tokens.
NFT Sector Extends Decline While Sector Indices Move Higher
Among declining sectors, Meme fell 0.44% over 24 hours, although SPX6900 (SPX) rose 7.57% within the sector. The AI sector declined 0.52%, while Worldcoin (WLD) gained 6.13% and remained relatively firm within that category. The NFT sector fell for a second consecutive day, declining 13.12% in the latest 24-hour data. Within NFT, Audiera (BEAT) dropped 24.25%, marking a sharp decline among the assets named in the report.
Crypto sector indices that reflect historical sector performance also showed gains in several categories. The ssiDeFi index rose 3.83%, the ssiPayFi index increased 3.78%, and the ssiLayer1 index gained 2.40%. Based on the SoSoValue figures, PayFi, DeFi, Layer1, Layer2 and CeFi were all higher, while Meme, AI and NFT ended the reported period lower.
