Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, responded on Aug. 16 to remarks attributed to the World Gold Council CEO that Bitcoin would eventually fall to zero. In his response, CZ said many people had made wrong calls on cryptocurrency in the past and added that understanding the sector takes time. He also said he could not be 100% sure that his own view was correct, noting that 「we are all human」. The World Gold Council CEO, in a recent interview, said his personal view was that Bitcoin would go to zero, while adding that his opinion was not based on Bitcoin being opposed to gold.
