Decentralized perpetuals exchange Deepsigma has launched a real-time simulated trading platform covering 77 traditional financial markets, including U.S. equities, stock indexes, commodities, and U.S. Treasury yields. Built on the Cypherium blockchain, the platform allows users to take long and short exposure to related assets without tokenizing, custodying, or physically settling the underlying instruments. Instead, Deepsigma says its perpetual contracts track prices through external market data feeds. Products currently supported on the platform include the S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, Nasdaq Composite, Russell 2000, Cboe Volatility Index, and contracts tied to crude oil, gold, silver, natural gas, and copper. The exchange said its risk engine uses multiple external pricing sources, mark prices, circuit breakers, partial liquidation, and an insurance fund. It also uses a central limit order book and a clearing layer to handle margin, collateral, and settlement. Deepsigma added that it is developing a decentralized identity framework based on zero-knowledge proofs and has deployed off-chain AI analytics tools with no authority to execute funds. Cypherium, the underlying blockchain, uses a hybrid Proof-of-Work and HotStuff Byzantine fault tolerance consensus design and holds four U.S. patents.

Deepsigma, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange, has launched a real-time paper trading platform covering 77 traditional financial markets, according to ChainCatcher. The lineup includes U.S. stocks, stock indexes, commodities, and U.S. Treasury yields.

The platform is built on the Cypherium blockchain and is being advanced by a team made up of alumni from Goldman Sachs, Citadel Securities, Google, and Uber. It supports long and short exposure to the related assets.

Deepsigma said its perpetual contracts do not tokenize the underlying assets, take custody of them, or involve physical settlement. Prices are tracked through external market data sources instead. The platform currently supports the S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, Nasdaq Composite, Russell 2000, Cboe Volatility Index, as well as contracts linked to crude oil, gold, silver, natural gas, and copper.

Its risk engine uses multiple external price sources, mark prices, circuit breakers, partial liquidation, and an insurance fund. The platform also uses a central limit order book and a clearing layer to manage margin, collateral, and settlement.

Deepsigma also said it is developing a decentralized identity framework based on zero-knowledge proofs and has configured off-chain AI analytics tools that do not have authority to execute funds. Cypherium, the underlying chain, uses a hybrid PoW and HotStuff Byzantine fault tolerance consensus mechanism and holds four U.S. patents.
