On June 5, on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain issued a warning that 343,075 ETH, worth approximately $547 million at current prices, is at risk of liquidation across various DeFi protocols. These positions are scattered across multiple lending platforms, reflecting high levels of leverage and the potential for cascading liquidations if ether prices decline.

Key Liquidation Price Levels

The data breaks down the liquidation risk by price: 46,741 ETH (≈$73.2 million) at $1,565.72; 58,032 ETH (≈$90.3 million) at $1,555.04; 100,394 ETH (≈$143.2 million) at $1,426.31; and 137,908 ETH (≈$187.8 million) at $1,361.73. Together, the lower two levels account for 238,302 ETH, or $331 million, representing close to 70% of the total exposed amount. The clustering of these orders creates a substantial liquidation wall between $1,360 and $1,570. Any sustained drop into this band would trigger automatic liquidations of the corresponding positions, potentially adding selling pressure to the market.
