Odaily reported that Bitcoin News posted on X that the Delaware House Economic Development Committee has advanced House Bill 441. The proposal seeks to prohibit all crypto ATMs across the state of Delaware, covering the presence of such machines statewide.

Under the process described in the report, if House Bill 441 is approved by the state Senate and then signed into law, existing crypto ATM machines in Delaware must be removed within 90 days. Lawmakers cited an increase in fraud connected to crypto ATMs as the reason for moving the legislation forward.

Delaware is not the only U.S. state to move in this direction. The report also noted that Indiana, Tennessee and Minnesota had previously advanced similar restrictions or bans. The latest step in Delaware places crypto ATMs within an active state-level legislative debate over limits on these devices.
