Funding rates are one of the contract-market data points used to reflect periodic payments between long and short positions, and the figures can differ from exchange to exchange.
Among the major exchanges listed in the data, Binance shows an ETH 8-hour funding rate of -0.0024%, while OKX shows -0.0022%. Gate’s rate is also negative at -0.0006%. These three platforms are all below zero, with their readings either lower than or close to the overall network average.
Bybit is the only exchange in the listed group with a positive ETH 8-hour funding rate, at 0.0038%. Taken together, the Coinglass figures place ETH’s network-wide 8-hour average funding rate near zero, while individual platforms continue to show differences in both direction and value.
