ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that ETH’s current network-wide 8-hour average funding rate is 0.0024%. Among the major exchanges included in the data, Binance shows a funding rate of 0.0023%, OKX is at 0.0011%, Bybit is at 0.0049%, and Gate is at 0.0041%.
Within this set of figures, Bybit has the highest listed rate, followed by Gate, while Binance is close to the network-wide average and OKX is the lowest among the four exchanges named. Funding rates are a standard metric in perpetual futures markets, where payments are settled between long and short positions at fixed intervals to help keep contract prices aligned with spot prices. The data here uses an 8-hour average funding-rate basis.
The figures were sourced from Coinglass and published by ChainCatcher in a market update. For traders active in ETH perpetual contracts, differences in funding rates across exchanges correspond to differences in position-carrying costs. Under the same 8-hour measurement window, Bybit’s 0.0049% and OKX’s 0.0011% form the high and low points among the platforms listed in this update.
