ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that ETH has two key price levels associated with liquidation intensity across major centralized exchanges. If ETH breaks above $1,772, the cumulative short liquidation intensity on major CEXs will reach $863 million.
Different liquidation pressure levels above and below current price
In the opposite direction, if ETH drops below $1,605, the cumulative long liquidation intensity on major CEXs will reach $697 million. The two figures correspond to short-position liquidation pressure on an upward move and long-position liquidation pressure on a downward move.
Based on the disclosed figures, the short liquidation intensity associated with the $1,772 level is higher than the long liquidation intensity associated with the $1,605 level. The data was sourced from Coinglass and reported by ChainCatcher under its market analysis category.
