ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that if ETH falls below $1,590, the cumulative long liquidation intensity across major centralized exchanges, or CEXs, will reach $767 million. The figure refers to the concentration of liquidation pressure associated with long positions around that price level.
In the opposite direction, if ETH rises above $1,756, the cumulative short liquidation intensity on major CEXs will reach $701 million. This places the upper price level as the corresponding area for short-position liquidation intensity in the Coinglass data.
Coinglass liquidation intensity data is commonly used to observe how leveraged positions are distributed around specific price points. In this update, the two stated ETH levels are $1,590 and $1,756, with long and short liquidation intensity shown at $767 million and $701 million respectively.
