ChainCatcher reported that, according to monitoring by the on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain (@lookonchain), trader 0xa2e8 completed 10 ETH long-short trades over the past five days. Of those trades, 9 were profitable, giving the trader a win rate of 90%. Lookonchain’s tracked data shows that the trader accumulated a total profit of $4.93 million from these ETH trades.
The same monitoring record also shows that 0xa2e8 currently maintains a short position in ETH. The trader is shorting 17,000 ETH with 20x leverage, and the position is valued at approximately $29.32 million. The position is measured both by the number of ETH involved and by its U.S. dollar value, with the current direction described as short.
In this context, ETH long-short trading refers to taking positions based on upward or downward price direction in Ethereum. Leveraged trading increases the size of a position through borrowed exposure and also magnifies gains and losses. The reported figures from Lookonchain include the five-day trading window, 10 total trades, 9 profitable trades, a 90% win rate, $4.93 million in cumulative profit, and the current 20x leveraged short position on 17,000 ETH.
