TechFlow reported on June 18 that, according to monitoring by on-chain analyst Ai Yi (@ai_9684xtpa), ETH fell again under the influence of hawkish remarks. A whale address that had accumulated 5,972 ETH at an average entry price of $1,989 is suspected of having chosen to close the position and stop losses.
The monitored address deposited ETH worth about $10.59 million to Binance nine hours earlier. This transfer was the key on-chain movement cited in connection with the suspected exit. Based on the deposit price, the ETH was valued at around $1,774.24 per coin at the time of the transfer.
The address built its position between March 27 and March 28, meaning it held the ETH for close to three months before the suspected liquidation. Compared with the reported average entry price of $1,989, the suspected closing action would imply an estimated loss of about $1.287 million. The figures and address activity were reported from Ai Yi’s on-chain monitoring.
