Ethereum Spot ETF Fund Flow Overview
According to data from SoSoValue, Ethereum spot ETFs recorded a net outflow of $273 million during the trading week from June 22 to June 26 (EST), extending the consecutive outflow streak to seven weeks. As of press time, the total net asset value of Ethereum spot ETFs has dropped to $8.38 billion, with the ETF net asset ratio (market cap relative to total Ethereum market cap) at 4.42%. Despite the recent outflows, historical cumulative net inflows still stand at $10.9 billion, suggesting long-term capital has not completely abandoned the asset class.
Divergent Performance Among Major ETFs: BlackRock ETHA Leads Outflows
The largest weekly outflow came from BlackRock's ETHA, which saw $236 million leave the fund, accounting for 86.5% of the total weekly outflow. Yet ETHA's all-time cumulative net inflows remain robust at $11.08 billion, indicating significant prior accumulation. Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH) followed with $22.22 million in weekly outflows, bringing its cumulative net inflows to $1.83 billion. In contrast, Bitwise ETHW recorded a modest net inflow of $0.557 million, making it the only product with positive flows for the week; its cumulative net inflows total $385 million.
Signals from the Consecutive Outflows and Market Implications
Seven consecutive weeks of net outflows from Ethereum spot ETFs have cumulatively removed over $1 billion from the products. This trend suggests diminished short-term demand for Ethereum investment vehicles, possibly tied to macroeconomic uncertainties, ETH price weakness, and a shift in investor risk appetite. However, the still-high cumulative net inflows indicate that long-term allocators are not fleeing the market en masse. Moving forward, market participants will watch for stabilization in ETF flows and whether ETH price action can attract new capital. SoSoValue data provides ongoing transparency for tracking these developments.
