Digital asset exchange Gate has announced a strategic partnership with Alpaca, a globally recognized brokerage infrastructure service provider, to launch stock and ETF trading for its users. The collaboration is designed to bridge the gap between digital assets and traditional financial markets, combining Gate's global ecosystem with Alpaca's market connectivity to deliver a streamlined multi-asset investment experience.
Under the planned rollout, Gate's stock trading service will offer access to major U.S. equities markets, featuring more than 10,000 stocks and ETFs listed on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. The platform will also support fractional share trading with a minimum investment of just $1, enabling users to diversify into global securities with greater flexibility and lower entry barriers.
Gate Founder and CEO Dr. Han commented that the financial system is evolving toward greater integration and interconnectivity, and user demand for accessing a broad range of investment opportunities on a single platform continues to rise. By partnering with Alpaca, Gate will seamlessly bring real stock market investing into the same convenient and efficient experience users already enjoy on the digital asset platform. He emphasized that multi-asset access points are becoming a critical component of next-generation global financial services, and this move represents an important step toward that vision.
Looking ahead, the two companies will explore new models for linking digital assets and traditional finance, aiming to enhance global market access and foster a more open, efficient, and interconnected multi-asset investment ecosystem. The initiative also marks tangible progress in Gate's strategy to build a comprehensive wealth management platform.
