Gemini, the crypto platform founded by the Winklevoss twins, has signed a letter of intent with Apex Fintech Solutions to distribute regulated crypto prediction market contracts to brokerage clients through Apex’s futures commission merchant, according to CoinDesk. Under the proposed arrangement, Gemini Titan would serve as the exclusive regulated venue for crypto event contracts distributed through Apex FCM, while Gemini would handle execution and clearing. The structure would allow brokerages using Apex to offer the products without building their own connection to a prediction market exchange. The move adds to Gemini’s push into regulated prediction markets. CoinDesk said Gemini Titan received a CFTC designated contract market license in December 2025, while Gemini Olympus obtained a derivatives clearing organization license in April 2025. The report also noted that Gemini and Apex already have an existing working relationship after Gemini launched commission-free stock trading for some U.S. customers in July, with Apex Clearing Corporation acting as custodian and clearing broker. Gemini said final details are expected to be settled in the coming weeks.
Gemini, the crypto platform founded by the Winklevoss twins, said it has signed a letter of intent with Apex Fintech Solutions to distribute regulated crypto prediction market contracts to brokerage clients through Apex’s futures commission merchant, according to CoinDesk.
Under the proposed setup, Gemini subsidiary Gemini Titan would become the exclusive regulated trading venue for crypto event contracts distributed through Apex FCM. Gemini would also handle execution and clearing. The arrangement would let brokerages that use Apex offer those products without building their own connection to a prediction market exchange.
CoinDesk said the partnership builds on Gemini’s broader push into regulated prediction markets. Gemini Titan received a designated contract market license from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, or CFTC, in December 2025. Gemini Olympus received a derivatives clearing organization license in April 2025.
The two companies already have a working relationship. In July, Gemini rolled out commission-free stock trading for some U.S. customers, with Apex Clearing Corporation serving as custodian and clearing broker.
Gemini said it expects to finalize details in the coming weeks. Gemini CEO Tyler Winklevoss said, 「we believe prediction is the future of markets.」 The report also noted growth in overall prediction market trading volume and referenced Gemini’s earlier launch of a Command Center AI feature tied to prediction markets.
