ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that whale positions on Hyperliquid currently total $4.394 billion. Long positions account for $2.198 billion, representing 50.02% of total whale exposure, while short positions stand at $2.196 billion, or 49.98%. The figures show that whale long and short positioning on the platform is nearly evenly divided, with only a 0.04 percentage point gap between the two sides.

In terms of profit and loss, long positions held by Hyperliquid whales show PnL of -$83.3024 million, while short positions show PnL of $3.1734 million. These figures separately reflect the current PnL status of long and short whale positions in the Coinglass data set, with the long side showing an overall loss and the short side showing positive PnL.

Among individual whale addresses, address 0x082e..88 entered a 5x cross-margin long position on HYPE at a price of $38.6755. Its current unrealized PnL is $40.4648 million. Unrealized PnL refers to the book result of an open position before it is closed, while the final profit or loss is determined at settlement.
