According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that whale positions on the Hyperliquid platform currently total $4.007 billion. Long positions stand at $2.004 billion, accounting for 50.01% of the total, while short positions stand at $2.003 billion, accounting for 49.99%. Based on these figures, the distribution between long and short whale positions is nearly even, with a difference of only 0.01 percentage point.

In terms of profit and loss, the current PnL for long positions is -$175 million, while the current PnL for short positions is $114 million. Within this set of Hyperliquid whale-position data, the long side is in loss, and the short side is in profit. The overall position share, however, remains close to an equal split between the two directions.

At the individual wallet level, whale address 0x0ddf..02 opened a 3x cross-margin short position on ETH at a price of $1,810.16. The address currently has an unrealized PnL of $8.6138 million.
