Iran has prepared response plans for any possible new "adventurous move," Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said on Oct. 18. In a social media post cited by Odaily and attributed to Xinhua News Agency, Rezaei said recent inflammatory remarks and repeated threats from U.S. and Israeli officials had done nothing to change realities on the battlefield. He added that Iran’s armed forces had already drawn up plans for any fresh action and said their destructive power would be far greater than before. Rezaei also said Iran’s new operational plan would no longer follow rules familiar to the other side. The item was published by Odaily as a 7x24 newsflash.
