Crypto commentator JackYi said in a post on X that recent market action has tracked his earlier expectations and that prices have already rebounded quickly. He said bears had put up some resistance during the weekend trading window, but argued that short positions are not advisable in an ongoing bull-market trend. JackYi laid out three areas he sees as the core opportunities in the current cycle. First, he said Bitcoin and Ethereum could both deliver returns of more than 3x, adding that Ethereum’s rebound could outpace Bitcoin’s. Second, he said onchain finance remains a core driver of demand, with global onchain transactions built on stablecoins set to keep expanding. Third, he pointed to what he described as a major opportunity in the combination of AI and crypto as AI develops at speed, with AI products serving as the source of demand and revenue while crypto functions as the market incentive layer.

He described three areas as the core opportunities in the current bull cycle.

BTC and ETH top his list

JackYi said BTC and ETH could both post returns of more than 3x in this cycle. He also said ETH could see a larger rebound than BTC.

Stablecoin-based onchain finance remains a key demand driver

He said onchain finance continues to be a core source of demand, and that global onchain transactions based on stablecoins will keep growing.

AI and crypto could form another major opportunity

JackYi also said the rapid development of AI could create significant opportunities at the intersection of AI and crypto. In his view, AI products would provide demand and revenue, while crypto would serve as a market incentive mechanism.
