According to Odaily, Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, said in a post that he will not decide whether to buy or sell assets based only on price. His comments came as gold and silver prices have recently declined. Kiyosaki said he has made many mistakes in the past, including allowing price movements to influence his investment judgment.
Focus on context rather than short-term price moves
Kiyosaki said he now pays more attention to the “environment” surrounding an asset and the broader macro backdrop, rather than short-term price volatility. He added that current global economic management is performing poorly and may cause problems to continue worsening.
Against that backdrop, Kiyosaki said he is watching the technical trends of gold, silver, Bitcoin and Ethereum. He is waiting for prices to end their downtrends before buying. He also said the technical charts for gold and silver show that both may be in a phase before a major rise, while reminding investors to make their own judgments and not blindly trust other people’s views.
