Techub News reported that cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, serving as FIFA’s official cryptocurrency exchange sponsor, will face its first major test of brand exposure during the World Cup group-stage match between New Zealand and Egypt on June 21. The match will be an important early showcase for Kraken’s sponsorship presence after the agreement was made public.
The sponsorship agreement was officially announced on June 9. Under the arrangement, Kraken will appear at the tournament venue alongside traditional brands such as Coca-Cola. The partnership places a cryptocurrency exchange within the official sponsorship system of the World Cup, giving Kraken a formal brand position in one of international sport’s largest event settings.
Citing CryptoBriefing, the report said Kraken’s brand will be displayed before billions of viewers worldwide. As the New Zealand versus Egypt group-stage match takes place, the exchange’s World Cup sponsorship will go through its first key test, with Kraken’s role as a crypto trading platform presented in a global football tournament environment.
