A whale has made a large purchase of STONK, the platform token of Solana token issuance platform StonkFun, according to on-chain monitoring shared by Lookonchain. The activity was tied to a newly created wallet, BmKrss.
Lookonchain said the wallet withdrew 22,686 SOL from Binance, with the transfer valued at about $2.25 million. After the withdrawal, the address had already spent 17,106 SOL, or roughly $1.7 million, to buy 5.41 million STONK.
The update points to concentrated buying through a fresh address rather than an older wallet with known activity. No additional details about the wallet owner were disclosed in the monitored data included in the report.
