On-chain analytics platform Lookonchain has reported that amid a broad market downturn, several major institutional crypto holdings have suffered significant unrealized losses. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana all saw price declines, leading to a sharp reduction in the paper value of these large positions.
The largest unrealized loss was recorded on Strategy's Bitcoin holdings, reaching $11.07 billion. Bitmine's Ethereum holdings were not far behind, with a floating loss of $9.58 billion. Other notable figures include SharpLink's Ethereum position at $1.59 billion, Metaplanet's Bitcoin holdings at $1.38 billion, and Forward Industries' SOL position at $1.13 billion.
It should be noted that all of these figures represent unrealized paper losses, not actual realized losses. Their ultimate impact depends on subsequent market movements.
