Metis said Metis Andromeda will end support for Stargate on Oct. 23, and LayerZero V1 routes should no longer be used before that date. Users providing liquidity to Stargate pools on Metis need to unstake and remove liquidity by Oct. 23. Tokens bridged out through LayerZero V1, including METIS, HERA, QI and MTVT, also need to be moved back to Metis Andromeda before that deadline. Metis added that LayerZero Labs’ DVN and Executor will stop servicing Metis on Oct. 30, while Stargate V1 pools will shut down across all chains on Dec. 15. Under the new DVN and Executor setup, LayerZero V2 will support only routes between Metis and Ethereum, BNB Chain, and GOAT Network. Metis said holders of m.USDC, m.USDT, WETH, or METIS do not need to take action because those assets are issued through the official Metis bridge. The official bridge between Ethereum and Metis will remain unaffected.
