Minicoin said it is building an IP RWA network on the Creditcoin blockchain, betting that intellectual property could become the next major asset class to move on-chain after stablecoins, U.S. Treasuries, real estate and private credit.

The project also said its native token, $MINI, will be the first listing on PenguinSwap Launchpad and will open through a public sale. According to the announcement, the sale will use a fair public mechanism with no insider discount, relying on open-market price discovery with the aim of creating a broader and more distributed holder base.
Mini Labs secured official minini IP rights from IPX
Minicoin developer Mini Labs said it has received official authorization from IPX to lawfully use the minini IP. IPX owns the LINE FRIENDS intellectual property franchise. The article states that the brand reaches more than 210 million LINE users globally and has over 31 million official LINE FRIENDS followers, giving it broad recognition across Asia and beyond.
Why Minicoin is targeting intellectual property
The article argues that IP has always been an asset class, but one that has remained illiquid for a long time. In the traditional system, ownership is usually recorded through national registries or private contracts, while licensing depends on lawyers and intermediaries. Creators often wait months to receive proceeds, and fees are taken at multiple layers along the way.
Minicoin links that problem to the rise of generative AI. AI is producing new intellectual property at a speed the existing human-managed copyright system cannot process, the article says. Copyright enforcement, manual licensing and rights management are no longer able to keep up with the volume of new content. Each year, the number of new IP assets exceeds the number that can be registered, licensed and monetized, and the gap is still widening.
To address that, Minicoin outlined three core claims for its platform:
- Redeemable Claim: each piece of intellectual property is treated as a claim structure comparable to the fiat backing behind a stablecoin.
- Full Ownership: every IP asset is minted as one IP NFT representing one complete and unique intellectual property right. The holder owns the full IP, can hold or trade it freely, and can also burn the NFT to restore the corresponding IP to full off-chain ownership for use outside the platform.
- Commercial Monetization: creators are meant to gain a way to establish ownership, circulate original IP and monetize it.
On-chain registration, smart contract payouts and AI tools
Minicoin said its system is built around four main components.
- On-chain IP Registry: intellectual property and ownership records can be logged on-chain in a public, transparent and verifiable format.
- Smart Contract Settlement: when an IP asset generates revenue, proceeds are settled automatically in $MINI through smart contracts and sent directly to the IP holder, without a rights-management institution in the middle.
- Creator & Fan Rewards: the platform uses on-chain micropayments so even very small royalty payments can be processed automatically, something the article says is close to impossible in conventional licensing systems.
- AI Creator Tools: the platform plans to offer AI tools so independent creators can quickly produce and publish original IP without relying on large studios.
For creators, that would mean being able to create original characters, tokenize the work, retain full ownership and receive revenue automatically when the market uses that IP, without a publisher, licensing agency or other third-party approval.
Minicoin also said one token will always correspond to one complete IP. The platform does not plan to use fractional ownership or issue IP share products.
Roadmap starts with stickers, then music, then virtual IP
Minicoin said it wants to build a full IP marketplace across three creative verticals so ordinary users can create original content and earn from it.
Phase 1: Stickers
Stickers are described as the simplest visual format and one of the easiest to define in copyright terms, making them a practical first use case for tokenization. The article also points to stickers as one of the areas most affected by AI content saturation. It cites an Asian messaging sticker and emoticon market worth hundreds of millions of dollars, including more than $170 million in annual LINE sticker revenue and about $870 million in cumulative KakaoTalk emoticon sales as of 2024.
Phase 2: Music IP
The article puts 2024 global songwriter and publishing revenue at about $13.6 billion and the recorded music market at about $29.6 billion. Because music rights involve more rights holders, Minicoin said it will initially support on-chain settlement for only part of those royalty streams.
Phase 3: Virtual IP
The article says the global virtual idol market exceeded $6 billion in 2024 and was growing at roughly 38% annually. Whether in the form of virtual models or VTubers, these assets are treated as digital intellectual property and fit naturally with on-chain ownership confirmation, character-origin verification and records of creator contribution.
minini universe: ROOM is live and tied to $MINI eligibility
Users can already see one application of the licensed minini IP. Minicoin said the full version of its survival adventure game, minini universe: ROOM, is now live on PenguinBase and uses officially licensed minini characters.
The campaign is designed to help players understand the IP world and also acts as an entry point for the future $MINI launchpad sale. Users can qualify for the upcoming public offering by completing tasks that include:
- playing ROOM
- raising their in-game level
- minting a Soulbound Token, or SBT
After completing the required tasks, users can obtain eligibility for the upcoming $MINI Launchpad public sale, according to the article. It added that more details are available on the official page.
