MNX, a decentralized futures exchange designed for the AI economy, has completed a $6.4 million financing round, according to official information cited by ChainCatcher. The round included participation from Village Global, Cambrian, Relay Digital, North Island Ventures and other investors. MNX is positioning itself as infrastructure for AI-native derivatives markets.
The platform aims to cover a range of AI-linked markets, including GPU rental prices, data center electricity cost futures, valuation markets for private labs such as OpenAI, Anthropic and DeepSeek, AI benchmark and financial forecasting markets, as well as perpetual contracts tied to global equities related to AI.
MNX also supports leverage, portfolio margining and fair execution through batch auctions. Settlement will take place on MegaETH in a fully non-custodial manner. According to the official update, the MNX mainnet is planned to go live this summer.
