According to ChainCatcher, MNX, a decentralized futures exchange designed for the AI economy, has completed a $6.4 million funding round. The round included participation from Village Global, Cambrian, Relay Digital, North Island Ventures and other investors.
MNX aims to build AI-native derivatives infrastructure. Its planned markets cover GPU rental prices, futures tied to data center electricity costs, valuation markets for private laboratories including OpenAI, Anthropic and DeepSeek, AI benchmark and financial forecast markets, and perpetual contracts linked to AI-related global equities.
The platform supports leverage, portfolio margin and fair execution through batch auctions. Settlement will take place on MegaETH in a fully non-custodial manner. MNX’s mainnet is scheduled to officially launch this summer.
