NeoSoul rolled out its Believe plan on Oct. 16. That same day, it finished the token generation event for DNA, and the token went live on exchanges including Binance Alpha and OKX.
The document starts with a blunt statement of intent: "I have a wildly unrealistic plan. In crypto, people will definitely laugh at it. But after thinking it over for a long time, I still decided to say it first: I want NeoSoul to live for 100 years." That's the project's 100-year ambition in plain terms. And the plan puts forward one specific way to back it up: team rewards will be subject to community review.
Team tokens move from time-based vesting to KPI-based unlocks
Under the Believe plan, the lock-up period for team tokens stays the same. The change is in how tokens get released. NeoSoul said it will get rid of linear unlocks and tie vesting to KPIs, or key performance indicators.
For each period, the amount of tokens that can be unlocked cannot go above the cap set under the original linear vesting schedule. If the KPI for that period is missed, then no unlock happens for that period.
That's a real break from the usual model, where team allocations unlock by the calendar. Here, performance decides it. Full stop.
The community will help write the scorecard
NeoSoul said in the plan that "KPIs will be formulated with joint participation from the community," meaning the KPI framework will be shaped with community input. The project is asking KOLs and community members to submit KPI ideas for team unlocks, and any proposal that gets adopted will earn DNA rewards.
So token holders get a more hands-on role. Instead of just waiting for the team to hit goals it set for itself, the community is being invited to help decide what those goals should be.
The plan points to several areas that could be measured
The original article says a useful KPI should make three things obvious right away: what is being tested, why it matters, and how success will be judged. It also says this is the article's own view, not a formal rule laid out by the Believe plan.
Even then, the plan already names several directions that could serve as benchmarks. NeoTrade will support DNA-only payments. Internal company settlement and employee compensation will give priority to DNA. The Agent Developer Program is scheduled to launch. Community incentives will gradually shift toward DNA holders and long-term contributors.
All of those are framed as public commitments the team has already made.
NeoSoul also says it will use DNA in day-to-day operations
The plan doesn't just give the community a say in setting the questions. NeoSoul said internal daily settlement, part of employee compensation, and external cooperation will all prioritize DNA. The DNA used for those purposes will be bought on the secondary market, and there will be no lock-up period attached.
The document also says the current unlock mechanism for shareholders will stay unchanged. Shareholders who voluntarily extend their lock-up period will receive token rewards.
The plan includes another line that captures its framing: "One person's dream is limited in the end. Only the belief of a group can give a dream a chance to endure through time." In the source article's wording, putting the team to the test may be the first step toward joining that 100-year ambition.
