According to on-chain monitoring platform Onchain Lens, a newly created wallet has withdrawn 2,500 Bitcoin (BTC) from crypto exchange Binance, valued at $163.6 million. On-chain data shows funds moved from the exchange’s hot wallet to a fresh address with no prior transaction history. Such large withdrawals are often considered whale activity, possibly indicating that large holders or institutions are moving assets to self-custody for security or long-term holdings. Binance is one of the world’s largest crypto exchanges by volume. As of now, the new wallet has not performed any outgoing transfers, holding 2,500 BTC and becoming a notable whale address on-chain.
