A 'news trader' has pocketed $378,000 by bribing a validator to front-run Binance's listing of Hachimi futures, according to on-chain monitoring. The trader paid 40.8 BNB (approximately $31,000) in validator bribes and gas fees to secure the first purchase within a second of the announcement.

Binance issued the Hachimi futures listing notice at 13:55:12. Within the same second, the trader channeled 35.3 BNB ($26,800) as a bribe to validator node BNB48 Club, using a private RPC path to buy 9.89 million Hachimi tokens at $0.02 each, spending 264.7 BNB ($200,000). An additional 5.5 BNB ($4,200) was paid in gas fees. The high bribe and gas costs ensured he was the first buyer, and subsequent traders entering behind him pushed the price higher, allowing him to exit with a profit.
