Niulai, a meme coin on BNB Smart Chain, briefly pushed its market capitalization to $142 million on Aug. 30 after Binance Futures listed the token, according to Odaily. The move marked another record high for the asset.

The token went live on Aug. 14 and was described by Odaily as a meme coin born out of the breakout popularity of the film Niulai. In roughly half a month, the coin drew a string of aggressive bets from on-chain traders. Odaily’s roundup focused on several of the most profitable positions disclosed through public posts, screenshots and third-party monitoring.
Early buyers and heavy hitters stood out
From the public information cited in the report, the traders who caught the move were mostly the ones who moved quickly on-chain, reacted early and were willing to size up.
Lana says she was behind the fomopumpguy account
Five minutes after Binance Futures listed Niulai on Aug. 30, trader Lana posted that she was claiming ownership of a previous fomo trading account and wrote that she had "unlocked a 10,000x achievement." Odaily said the account she cultivated, @fomopumpguy, had more than 8,000 followers on X and 55,000 followers on the fomo trading platform.
Screenshots cited in the article showed that the account bought Niulai with about $113.36 when the token’s market capitalization was roughly $11,700. As of Aug. 30, the account was showing about $1.006 million in unrealized profit, for gains above 10,000x.

At the time of writing in the source article, Niulai’s market capitalization was still hovering around $120 million. Odaily said that if Lana had not sold, the floating multiple would be as high as 12,000x.
Leishemao posted a return close to 105x
On the afternoon of Aug. 30, crypto KOL and meme trader Leishemao wrote on X, "With $800, one trade made it all back." Odaily said the post appeared to suggest that an $800 buy had once again led to a sizable gain.
According to the screenshot included in the report, Leishemao had previously put about $10,700 into Niulai. At that point, the token’s market capitalization was around $100 million. The position was showing roughly $1.1232 million in floating profit, a return rate of 10,467.74%.
Gu Lang Capital described several entries and exits
Prediction-market trader Gu Lang Capital (@AnselFang), who Odaily said it had interviewed before, used X on Aug. 30 to look back on how he traded Niulai.

In his account, he first heard about the token while playing cards with friends in the industry, when Niulai’s market capitalization was only about $5 million. He said he initially bought a few hundred dollars’ worth and only started researching it after the token moved higher that night.
He then decided to trade a second leg after concluding that the movie was "really ugly" but had a catchy name. When Niulai pulled back to a $16 million market cap the next day, he said he, Heima and Aoying each bought a small amount while having a meal together. Around Aug. 17, before the broader crypto market had entered what he called a bull run, Niulai rose toward $40 million but failed several times to break through, and he said he once fully exited around the $30 million level.
Later, after BTC surged while Niulai kept hovering near a $40 million market cap, he said he changed his view and bought $300,000 worth of Niulai at a $42 million market cap. Because the liquidity pool was shallow, he said his own buying pushed execution levels toward a $50 million market cap and helped drive Niulai to its first major peak at $74 million.
He said he kept holding afterward, even through unrealized losses. In the post quoted by Odaily, he wrote: "By firmly trusting my own taste and the narrative, I can now be counted as an early promoter for Niulai! LFG!!!" The article also noted that he attached screenshots showing him promoting the token on the fomo trading platform.

Queen bought about $1.51 million worth before the Binance listing
Before Binance Futures listed Niulai, trader Queen (@XXAntiWar), described in the article as a former meme coin lead trader, bought roughly $1.5 million worth of the token in two transactions around midday.
According to on-chain analyst EmberCN, Queen chased the move at a market capitalization of about $86 million and bought about $1.51 million worth of Niulai in total, or 17.56 million tokens. The article broke the purchases down as follows:
- Address 0x90c1 used 1,540 BNB, worth about $1.067 million, to buy 12.25 million Niulai tokens.
- Address 0xfe57 used 645 BNB, worth about $447,000, to buy 5.31 million Niulai tokens.
Odaily said Niulai’s market capitalization had risen from $55 million to $98 million during that stretch, then advanced again to $127 million after the Binance listing.
The report also cited monitoring from analyst Ai Yi on the previous day, saying address 0x90c1 was one of the key drivers behind Niulai’s short-lived break above a $90 million market cap. The same address had built a position before. Thirteen days earlier, it bought Niulai and then fully exited five days ago at $0.03162.

GMGN data showed Dayu holding 1.4 million tokens
GMGN data cited by Odaily showed that trader Dayu held about 1.4 million Niulai tokens as of the previous morning, with an average cost basis of $0.0413. At that time, the position was valued at about $121,400 and showed about $65,600 in unrealized profit.
Odaily added that after Niulai later moved above $0.1 and then reached $0.12, if Dayu had still not sold, the trade would imply a return of about 200% and cumulative profit of about $250,000.
The article also said Dayu had previously stated in public that he would shift his focus toward AI-related sectors and assets. His purchase of Niulai and other meme coins was presented in the report as a sign that he had returned to crypto-native trading.
