The report said two of those rounds were completed around the beginning of this year. NOOKLAB was founded by Raymond, who was born in 1996 and previously worked at OPPO, OnePlus, Anker, and ByteDance. At ByteDance, he was responsible for second-generation AI glasses within the Ocean team.
NOOKLAB’s first product, Moonphase Flip, weighs 54 grams and attaches to the back of a smartphone through MagSafe. The company describes it as a low-interruption portable AI display. The product is mainly aimed at overseas markets. The team currently has about 30 members.
