Offramp confirms it is shutting down
Offramp, a crypto-native cross-border financial platform, announced on July 1, 2026 that it will wind down operations in stages. The company described the decision as difficult and said it came after significant deliberation. According to the notice, prevailing market conditions have made it too difficult to continue building and operating Offramp in its current form.
Rather than ending all services immediately, the company laid out a structured shutdown timeline intended to give users time to withdraw funds, close open activity, and manage remaining balances. During the transition, Offramp recommends that users access their accounts through the web application at app.offramp.xyz for the best experience when handling account management and withdrawals. The company also said users can seek help through contact@offramp.xyz or in-app chat for account access and support matters.
Changes already effective from July 1, 2026
Offramp said several product changes took effect immediately on July 1, 2026. Instant transfers have been disabled, and QR payments are no longer available. For virtual accounts, the creation of new accounts has been turned off, while users with existing virtual accounts may continue using them until September 30, 2026.
The company also scaled back its Savings & Investments features. New deposits and new stock purchases are no longer allowed, although users can still sell existing holdings and withdraw balances until December 31, 2026. For card products, new physical card orders have been disabled, but existing cards remain functional for the time being. Offramp’s mobile app has also been removed from both the App Store and Google Play. Users who already installed the app may continue using it only until July 31, 2026.
- Instant transfers: disabled
- Virtual accounts: new account creation disabled; existing accounts usable until September 30, 2026
- QR payments: disabled
- Savings & Investments: new deposits and stock purchases disabled
- Physical card orders: new orders disabled; existing cards still functional for now
- Mobile app: delisted from app stores; installed versions work until July 31, 2026
July 31, 2026: fiat rails and crypto deposits go offline
The next major deadline is July 31, 2026. On that date, fiat deposits and withdrawals will be fully disabled. Crypto deposits will also be turned off, and the company explicitly warned users not to send digital assets to any Offramp deposit address after July 31, as those deposits should no longer be expected to process normally.
Offramp also instructed users to withdraw any remaining fiat balance before that date, because fiat functionality will be completely unavailable afterward. In the same phase, both physical and virtual cards will stop working for spending. However, refunds and disputes related to prior card transactions can still be requested and processed until September 30, 2026.
The company added that its mobile app will stop functioning after July 31, 2026. After that point, users will still be able to access their accounts via the web application, which remains the main interface for managing remaining balances and completing the offboarding process.
September 30, 2026: virtual accounts and crypto withdrawals end
On September 30, 2026, Offramp will disable virtual accounts entirely. Users are advised to cancel any recurring deposits linked to their virtual account before that cutoff to avoid sending funds into a discontinued service flow. This date also marks the end of crypto withdrawals on the platform.
For any crypto balances still left on the platform after withdrawals are disabled, Offramp said the remaining assets will be moved to users’ embedded wallet. If users need assistance accessing that wallet, the company directed them to contact contact@offramp.xyz. Card dispute support will also end on September 30, meaning refund and dispute requests tied to earlier card activity must be submitted before that date.
December 31, 2026: final closure of Savings & Investments and full platform shutdown
The last major deadline in the wind-down plan is December 31, 2026. By then, Offramp’s Savings & Investments products will be fully closed. Users must sell any remaining holdings and withdraw their balances before that date. The company specifically instructed users to liquidate all remaining positions in these products before year-end.
After December 31, 2026, the entire Offramp platform will be fully closed. In its closing note, the team thanked users for their support over the years and said the trust placed in the platform meant a great deal to the company. It also gave a specific acknowledgment to members of its Discord community who had supported the project since day one. The announcement is primarily operational in nature, but it gives existing users a clear shutdown roadmap across fiat services, crypto transfers, card usage, and investment products.
